We are an energetic team that is responsible for the architecture, development, delivery and operations of the new global Connectivity Backend for Daimler Trucks and Buses. We work with latest cloud technologies, organize ourselves in DevSecOps teams and use agile practices. We as a team value collaboration, openness, our users, good coding practices, and we do get things done.
Connectivity plays a central role within Daimler Trucks and Buses. Many innovative services like MB Uptime or Autonomous Driving build upon connectivity and rely on data from the trucks. Together with our international colleagues we connect all our trucks around the globe 24/7 and shape commercial transportation of tomorrow.
You will be part of a DevSecOps team with a focus on security topics for the complete product life cycle.
You will work in a team that has global responsibility for a domain within our IoT platform.
You will be a driver to improve and secure our platform architecture, CI/CD pipeline and operations together with the team.
You will have shared responsibilities for product architecture, development, delivery and operations together with the team.
You will work closely with other software engineering teams around the globe and the truck engineering organization to design and deliver the best IoT platform.
You love coding and solving complex IoT-related problems (e.g. large scale message processing, unreliable mobile networks).
You have several years of experience in software development (esp. .NET, Java).
You are experienced in software security, preferably on cloud platforms.
You have preferably knowledge about cloud technologies and cloud infrastructure (esp. Microsoft Azure).
You have preferably experience with penetration tests, certificates and CAs, networks, assessing and verifying implementations regarding security aspects.
