We have a strong 300+ inhouse software community collaborating across development sites in Stavanger (Forus), Bergen (Sandsli), and Trondheim (Rotvoll). Things we are working on include words like: Python, Azure, timeseries, machine learning, C++, GitHub, GraphQL, open source, k8s, Rust, optimization, React Native, microservices, security, Linux, GPU, robotics, SAP, Java, Jupyter, and supercomputing.

    We are looking for people that are early in their career and that have a passion for software development. If you have a master's degree or PhD in informatics, computer science or computer engineering with 0-3 years of relevant experience, you are the one we are looking for. We need your help to solve the challenges the largest energy company in Norway face in the age of digitalization.

    • Master's degree or PhD in informatics, computer science or computer engineering  
    • 0-3 years of relevant experience
    • We frequently use Python, C#, C/C++, Java and Javascript variants so experience with these are a plus
    • Good knowledge with algorithms, mathematics or physics
    • Experience with statistics, visualization [and|or] machine learning is beneficial
    • Experience with open source is a plus

    Candidates with bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of solid software development experience can be considered.
