    Job Description:

    As our Junior FPGA Engineer, you will:

    • Translate various requirements of satellite telecommunication systems into FPGA architectures

    • Be involved in the complete development cycle: analysis, architecture, design, coding, fpga image build, prototype on target bring-up and debugging, power estimation, assist in driver design, etc.

    • Follow up whether the implementation is in line with the original defined architecture and requirements

    • Document the architecture, code, solutions and test cases

    • Work closely with our embedded developers, quality assurance and customer support engineers

    • Aspire towards a thorough understanding of satellite communication technologies and components

    As a prerequisite to become our Junior FPGA Engineer you:

    • Hold a Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Sciences, Telecommunication,...)

    • Have at least a first relevant embedded development experience

    • Have experience with FPGA Devices (Intel Altera, Xilinx), SOC Devices, VHDL or Verilog, Scripting Languages (TCL, Python, …), simulation tools (ModelSim), Matlab.

    • Are conversational in English

    • Can explain a defined architecture and work on an abstract and conceptual level
