You'll be based from their new, head office location in Central Bournemouth just two minutes from the beach.

    Your new role
    This role is aimed at a junior developer on an upward trajectory in their career, someone with C# web application experience and a desire to work with well supported, cutting edge tech around .Net Core, Azure, DevOps.

    It's a flat structure and when new project work comes in, the team evaluate Developers strengths and experience, then create a build team suited to it. It's likely you'll run a maximum of 2 projects concurrently to ensure focus and quality and you'll work closely with the Head of Dev and IT Director who still contribute across the whole ecosystem regularly.

    DJS encourage their developers to learn all areas of the business to avoid being pigeon-holed. They are changing the stigma on the lending market and fairness and customer service is paramount to their offering. The work you'll have access to is varied, perhaps re-architecting the underwriting systems or looking at delivering a greenfield white label package for external parties. It's reactionary, exciting and ever-changing.

    The company has experienced consistent headcount growth and have intentions to double in size taking them above 100 staff. The technology team are methodical when hiring and always look to keep a good equilibrium allowing you to progress your career in this role. Longer term the intention is to balance the tech and ops teams which will provide leadership opportunities.

    What you'll need to succeed
    To be considered for interview it is essential that you have commercial experience working with C# / Asp.Net and ideally .Net MVC. .Net CORE is the principal framework that has been adopted for new work.

    You'll have worked with wider .Net technologies including LINQ / Entity Framework and will perform development tasks across the full stack covering SQL Server on the back end and JavaScript/HTML5/CSS on the front end. Interest in Angular will be beneficial as it increasingly surpasses their jQuery usage.

    The team have adopted the DevOps pipeline and have a commitment to automation. You will be pushing CI / CD and will be working increasingly on the Azure platform using Redis so experience in these areas will serve you well.
